Our Newest Addition

This weekend Clint and I welcomed the cutest and greatest puppy on the planet into our lives; her name is Pedernales, after the river, Perdy for short, and we will register her as Pedernales McCombs Miller (we have to include the McCombs to show our UT spirit). She is a pure bred English Bulldog with amazing family lineage that goes back to her great great grandparents.

So why a bulldog? Bulldogs are amazing apartment dogs; they have such a calm demeanor and prefer the chill of the air conditioning to the outdoors. The are great with other people and can sit and entertain themselves for hours. They don't really bark and they love to just sit and hang out with their owners...PERFECT!

Right now, she is the cutest 10 pounds of rolly polly ever and will probably reach the average weight of 40 pounds when she is full grown. Our first night with her, she only woke up once! Amazing for a puppy! But the second night, when she was a little more comfortable with us, she definitely kept us up all night. We look forward to watching this little girl grow as she will be an amazing addition to our family :)
